Job Description
CVS/specialty is currently seeking an experienced leader to join our Specialty Field Sales Leadership team. The Field Sales Manager will support the Central U.S. This position will be responsible for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, Hepatitis C and AutoImmune disease states. The Field Sales Manager (FSM) will oversee sales achievement for a dynamic group of Territory Sales Executives that span the Central U.S. and include approximately 10 different targeted regions.

The FSM focuses on development and execution of sales strategies, strategic plans and maximizing human capital. Candidates must reside within this territory preferably in a large metro area with immediate access to airports and transportation. Ability to travel approximately 75% is required.

Required Qualifications
*Previous management experience in the pharmaceutical or specialty pharmacy industry Bachelor degree.

*Past proven and verifiable sales achievement as an individual contributor and/or manager.

*Past experience and proficiency leading and managing a team of sales executives.

*Proven and demonstrated communication skills, including interpersonal, written, oral and presentation skills.

*Ability to work cross-functionally and through others to achieve results.

*Demonstrated analytical skills to help define and establish strategies and action plans.

*Ability to excel in a fluid and competitive environment. Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and sales software database applications.

*The candidate must be located within the designated Western/Central territory.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling and or managing a sales team in a specialty disease state(s). Master's degree in health care or business administration.

Education
Bachelor degree in health care, business, or pharmacy administration required. Masters degree preferred.
